In a small warehouse, you store your own goods on your own, using the self-service principle. This means that you rent a storage unit for your own use. Flexistore's smart and digital approach makes this very simple and offers great benefits to its customers. You can visit our warehouses at any time and access the storage space and your unit using digital keys in the Flexistore app. Learn how to use Digital keys here . Only you have access to the unit, and you decide who you want to share your keys with from one phone to another. Flexistore offers units in different sizes. You can find a complete overview of the different storage units on our website.

We value the security of your belongings as if they were our own. Our digital access system and video surveillance ensure that we have full control over who is in the storage facilities at all times. Our locks are integrated into the frame of our storage units, making them burglar-proof. We have also installed sensors that monitor temperature and humidity levels at all times. We also offer insurance for the goods you store. Choose the insurance option that suits your needs when you book your storage unit online.

You can bring your goods to us, for example, in your own car. However, if you need help transporting your goods to or from the warehouse, please feel free to contact us for more information about moving assistance/recommendations in your area and how to get a quote directly from a moving company.

The height of the storage unit varies depending on the storage space. The average storage height is approximately 2.3 m. If you have special needs, please contact customer service and we will do our best to help you find the right storage for you.

A storage unit can hold more than you think. A small 1 square meter storage unit can store about 15 moving boxes by taking advantage of the height. You can use the size calculator to estimate how much space you need. If you are unsure or have special needs, just contact our customer service and we will help you find the right storage for you.

No. Your unit is personal. Our wall elements and doors are made of steel, so no one can see the contents of your storage.

There are no electrical boxes in our warehouses.

Yes, carts are available in all our warehouses to make transporting goods easier. The carts are tracked via GPS via the app. If you use a cart, please make sure to return it to the cart parking area after use. Ask our customer service for more information.

The price of the units varies depending on size and location. You can find pricing information for different units on our website. You can download the app for free and register without any commitment to pay.

You can unlock your storage unit remotely using the keys in the app. However, in order to lock the storage unit, it must be physically closed, so make sure you only unlock it when someone is on site to close the door.

Yes, you can easily share your digital key with others. Open the app, go to the vault in question, tap “Share,” and follow the instructions. You can also remove access from others at any time in the app. Learn how you share access from this link:  

Yes, you can have multiple storage units in the same or different storage facilities under the same user account. All storage units are managed in the app.

Lease agreement and terms

Flexistore is available for both private and business use. Anyone can download and use the Flexistore app, but to reserve a storage unit, the user must be 18 years of age or older.

No, unless you spend time packing or organizing the storage unit. Staying in the small storage unit or unit for an extended period of time or using it as a workplace is not permitted.

You can keep whatever you want, within reason. For safety reasons, it is not permitted to bring or keep items that are prohibited by criminal law or that are derived from crimes. This also applies to any kind of food or unpleasant-smelling goods, flammable materials, liquids or gases, explosives, lithium-ion batteries or anything else that could cause damage or danger, including scooters. Yes, when renting with Flexistore you must be fully insured. We offer insurance when you book your storage unit. Choose the insurance option that best suits you and your belongings when booking.

The minimum rental period is 1 month. There is no maximum rental period. The rental agreement is continuous and will automatically renew monthly or annually until you decide to terminate the agreement.

You can easily terminate your storage unit lease agreement in the app. You can also terminate the agreement in writing by email or via chat. Please note that the lease agreement must be terminated at least 14 days before the start of the next rental billing period, otherwise you will be charged for the next month's rent. This is how you cancel your subscription. You can see your renewal date in the app.

The rental agreement must be terminated at least 14 days before the start of the new rental period. Each rental period is 1 calendar month. For example, if your start date is the 10th, the rental agreement will renew on the 10th of the following month. You can find detailed information about the rental agreement and when the next rental period starts in the app.

Each rental period starts on the next billing day. You can find this information in the app under the selected storage unit.

If you have cancelled a storage unit but change your mind and want to keep it, you can easily change this in the app. Select “reactivate” under the selected storage unit in the app and the lease will be reactivated.

The storage unit must be emptied and cleaned thoroughly before removal. The door must be closed and locked.

The rental agreement is between you and Flexistore and is not transferable to another person. You can share the digital key of the storage unit with anyone you want, but if someone else wants to take over the rental of the storage unit, that person must sign a new agreement with Flexistore in their own name. Please contact customer service and we will help you with this.

Invoicing

Once your reservation is complete, you will see the selected storage unit in the app. You will also receive a confirmation email and text message when your reservation is approved. If your storage unit says “pending approval,” try refreshing the page by pulling down the screen on your mobile device. The storage unit must also be paid for in order for the reservation to be approved. If your reservation says “unpaid,” you can try paying for the unit again in the app.

Rent is paid in advance, monthly or annually. The first rent is paid when you make a reservation using your chosen payment method. After that, rent is automatically paid using your chosen payment method until the contract ends. You can change and update your payment method in the app throughout the rental period.

You can find last month's receipt in the app under the storage unit. If you need receipts from previous months, please contact customer service and we will send them to you by email.

No, we only send invoices by email.

In the app you will see an overview of when the next payment date is. This is also the date when the new rental period starts.

Digital keys will be deactivated and you will lose access to the storage space if payment is not made on time. As soon as the outstanding payments are paid, access to the storage space and unit will be restored. Please note that if the unpaid amount is paid by bank transfer, it may take longer for access to be updated. If you choose to pay the unpaid amount in the app, you will receive immediate access once the payment has been updated. You will receive payment reminders via email or text message to avoid this issue.

Support and customer service

At Flexistore, you can book up to 21 days in advance, or you can book today and get immediate access to your own storage. The choice is yours! To rent a small storage unit, manage payments and manage your order, you need to download the Flexistore app, which is available for free on Google Play and the App Store.

Login is case sensitive, email address must be entered with the country code (+358). If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking on “forgot password”. If you are still having problems, please contact customer service and we will help you resolve the issue.

Open with your phone! You use digital keys created in the Flexistore app. Download the app to your phone or tablet to open your storage unit. (The app requires iOS or Android operating system).

Flexistore can refer you to various moving and transportation companies if you do not have the means or the means to transport your goods yourself. Options and prices vary depending on how much goods you want to transport to the warehouse.

 

If you are unable to open your storage unit, please check the following:

  1. Are you logged in to the app?

  2. Is your phone connected to WiFi or 4G/5G? (Flexistore also has a free guest network)

  3. Has the lease ended?

  4. Do you have any outstanding payments that need to be paid?

  5. Try closing the app completely, clearing it from memory, and reopening it.

  6. Restart your phone and try again.

If the problem persists, please contact customer service and we will help you resolve it.

You can update some information in your user profile in the app. You can also change your password here. Card information can be updated for a single storage unit order. If you need to update personal information, such as your name and email, please contact customer service.

If you need more or less space, changing your storage unit is no problem, as long as the size you want is available. You can request an upgrade/downgrade in the app, and customer service will contact you. If the matter is urgent, we recommend contacting customer service directly. There are no administration fees for changing your unit.

Yes, you can make an advance reservation. When making a reservation, you select a start date. Advance reservations can be made up to 21 days in advance.

Services

All our small storage units are open 24 hours a day. You can access your storage unit with digital keys in the app 24/7 all year round. Customer service is open weekdays from 09:00 to 16:00, after office hours and on weekends we are available via chat. Chat is the most recommended way to contact us! 

Currently, we only rent small storage units and do not sell other equipment, moving boxes, or tape.

No, we currently do not offer pick-up.
