At Flexistore, we are constantly looking for the most environmentally friendly options. Our goal is to be the most modern and ecological small warehouse in Finland.
Our goal for 2025 is to remain the obvious choice for customers looking for environmentally friendly self-storage. At the same time, we want to develop our sustainability strategy more holistically, integrating it more closely with our sales and operational strategy. This means that at all levels of our business, we offer the most climate-friendly solution possible.
This is easier said than done, and we already identify several areas for improvement before we can call ourselves a truly sustainable company. Sustainability is a challenging, if not contradictory, concept in a for-profit business. However, we believe that we can promote the sharing economy, provide a better overview of less frequently used goods (which can be passed on, sold or loaned), and focus on reusing existing buildings instead of building new ones.
Our goal is to implement a thorough and well-designed sustainability strategy that takes into account the environment, the local community and our business operations. We use the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals as the basis for our strategy. sustainable development goals, of which we have so far focused particularly on SDG11 (Sustainable cities and communities), SDG7 (Affordable and clean energy), SDG13 (Climate action) and SDG12 (Responsible consumption and production).
In our 2025 vision, our goal is to deepen our commitment to SDG11 and expand our impact to SDG9 (Sustainable industries and infrastructure) and SDG8 (Decent work and economic growth).
